One Month Later

How is it that I seem to have more time on my hands to look at fashion shows, write for other publications, go out on weekends, and take naps--and yet I find myself ashamed and embarrassed for what it appears like abandoning Moda RoJo?

Dear friends, Moda RoJo isn't disappearing anytime soon, so get back to reading cause I will be intensifying intensely, messing with my writing style, design, and absent photography skills. I might have over estimated my ability to maintain extra-curriculars alongside school work but it will no longer get it in my way of where my fashion writing began. Friends, I'm going to take Moda RoJo back to its roots, where you will find a combination of my designs, Proenza Schouler, Arctic Monkeys, and crepes. Yes--that means I am finally designing at school, I have time to search the interwebs for some Tommy Ton shots, and I just haven't eaten a crepe in a long time.

With NYFW over, that means we're headed over to Europe to see where the creative minds of master minds like Karl Lagerfeld have landed--well really that means my eyes will be glued to style.com for another three weeks. In the mean time, I'm formulating an epic post about Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez's latest collection, which was to-die-for, so that should be good granted I write it.

I'm working on a 20 x 20 color wheel made out pictures of food from old Martha Stewart "Living" magazines, and let me tell ya, it gets your appetite going. When that puppy is finished I'll be sure to snap a photo and place it on here so you will all see it. I also spent 6 hours today working on the shade and the tint of an actual color wheel--yes I am an accomplished artist.

For the past 24 hours I have been in this weird state where I cannot stop laughing and every ten minutes I get an ab workout with my good friend Tori. Either it's the odor of a dead animal outside my dorm that's getting to my cerebral cortex, or my lack of sleep that will clearly be affected by the time it has taken me to write this post.

And now I digress, leaving you with a couple of things:

1. My latest t-shirt that I made in apparel 1, as well as my fellow classmate's work.

2. The newest magazine which I write for (regarding fashion, le duh)--Terror Magazine that is; it's targeted for women (no pun intended guys) and the best part about this magazine is that it's a real publication, as in print. No my friends it is not a dying occupation. The blog is updated every day and when later this Spring the magazine launches, you will be the first to know.

4. Spark Magazine blog-->all week every week

5. CollegeFashionista, check out all my Fashionistos I photograph, they all like to wear glasses.

6. My favorite line from this past weekend: "If I can't even get a taxi here in Austin, how ever will I get one in New York?"

Oh and Bucks and Buster (my nickname from my sister--aka me) will be working on a special project at some point in the near near future, which basically means crazy things will happen.

xox,
RoJo
