While I have been here in Mexico City, I have been interning with my favorite magazine of all times besides Vogue, that is NYLON Mexico! It's been a great experience thus far and I have already learned a lot in a short span of time! As you all know fashion is something I know and love and have pursued this passion in every possible way available to me! I don't want to limit myself to just one thing in the fashion industry, therefore I have tried myriad jobs from retail and design to writing. I've only been interning for about two weeks and I have been lucky enough to have gotten a mini article published on NYLON Mexico's website!! Although it is not necessarily about fashion per say, writing about a cupcake boutique for NYLON Mexico is a great start!
I went to investigate the location of MATILDA'S and took hundreds of photos! My sister (@bphoto_graphie) is the photographer of the family, however I had to adapt and think like a photographer which was something I enjoyed a lot!! It was a change from the norm! I also tried something even newer: that is, writing in Spanish! Spanish is my first language, but I always post in English so it was cool to do it! I think I might even start translating some of my posts into Spanish para ustedes que leen mi blog y hablan Español!
