To start off I'd like to say, that the change of location from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center, did profoundly change the setting for New York Fashion Week this year. The runways were all different for every show, which did slightly alter some pictures. Nonetheless, designers created a myriad of collections, most of which I viewed on Style.com. (Which by the way is where these pictures from this post are from). Once New York Fashion Week was over, I continued viewing London Fashion Week, where more collections were shown.

Most of the collections used light blues, off whites, and a tannish/gold color-colors which happened to be the inspiration of my upcoming collection. Of course there were other prominent colors, but I was on the look out for those certain colors and they were the ones that caught my eye the most.

More to come after National Portfolio Day (when I have time to blog again). I am still anxiously waiting for Luella's collection!
